The Carterton Library building is one of the oldest operating public libraries in its original building in New Zealand.
Connected to the Events Centre, the library links our past with the future. It’s a space designed to engage, inspire, and inform people of all ages. The library offers:
- Reading and work areas
- WiFi and internet access
- Recommendations to readers
- Reference enquiries
- A range of programmes for adults and children
- The book delivery service, Homelink
- Access to Libby, an elibrary collection of ebooks, audiobooks and emagazines.
- Printing, copying and scanning facilities
- Exhibitions and events
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 5.00 pm
Saturday 9.30am – 1pm
Sunday Closed
